Burnt Orange C6 Corvette - This C6 Corvette is representing the University of Texas in a major way! Both the color and the plate are spot on. "I Love Texas" indeed!
Red Lotus Esprit V8 - The Lotus Esprit V8 is a special version of the Lotus Esprit supercar. Early Esprits were V6's, but later editions, like the car featured here, had a V8 powerplant. This one is supporting Texas A&M. The vanity plate is great because it explains how the owner got the car, he "Worked For It"! (Good news for you Lotus fans. Lotus stopped producing the Esprit in 2004, but the firm plans to reintroduce the car in 2013.)
Finally, this beautiful and incredibly rare Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera was spotted out and about tearing up the streets! The Gallardo Superleggera was produced from 2007 to 2008 with only 172 of the cars being built. Of these cars 45 were made in yellow.
The Superleggera is a lightweight version of the Gallardo (leggera = "lightweight" in Italian). It weighs 220 pounds less than the base car and produces 10 more horsepower than the standard Gallardo, thus providing incresed performace over the stock Gallardo. (Notably, in 2010 Lamborghini announced it is bringing back the Gallardo Superleggera.)
